Specifically our branch specific animated flags
 come from a free use resource@ Mulimedia Palace
They may "LOOK" like the same images used on another military forum but they did NOT come from that site!!!!
And we CANNOT be held liable for copyright infringement of said site because we are NOT copying their layout, themes etc.
Our forum honors EVERY branch of the US military and as American's we have EVERY right to show our love,support and gratitude to those who sacrifice so much for us at little or no respect returned from the general populace
Other Avatars in use here were created by talented members of this site that dedicate their time to help improve this site.
Our membership includes represenatives from ALL branches of the US military as well as reps from our allies from around the world and we WILL make them feel at home and that they are welcome here.
Some of our newer avatars were gotten from THIS site OR the "Iconator" another free resource of ours

I'm currently uploading a few Marine Corps Avatars that were downloaded from Squadbay downloads they are advertized as free use so if you have a problem with our using any from there you should contact The Squadbay's webmaster. via their contact page

UPDATE
I find it VERY interesting the page linked to above has been removed from the web

Dang that is AWESOME, I've seen that before in a couple places. But I'm sure it's safe to use it (public domain) and all that. As a Cop I'd love to use that one myself, but...

Newest Avatars being uploaded are Austin Powers Avatars they each came from the site at the link below

both come from the Free Avatars site you can locate this one by going to your profile>Modify profile> forum profile from the drop down window>Marine folder>Avatar title>(2ND_Marine_Div) click on the title of the Av you want to use then click on change profile for new av to execute.
All of our branch folders have branch related avs inside pick the 1 you like and change as often as you wish.
